Has anyone played Prey?

A lot of people seem to rip on this game, and say it's crap, but I think it's a great game. I got the Collectors Edition for 30 bucks new, and don't feel ripped off at all. The Multiplayer is buggy as hell, but I thoroughly enjoyed the single player, and the wall walking aspect was really neat.

Did anyone else like this game, or am I the only one?

I played the game at my friend's house and it was pretty good. The story really confused me though... it's such a weird game.

Everyone says it sucks for some reason, in the UK you can find it in bargain bins everwhere for a tenner, or even less. I was thinking of buying it, I mean come on, it's made by the same guys who made Duke Nukem for crying out loud

However, although I enjoyed what I played of it, i've heard it's very easy and very short, so it's a "rent me" kinda game.

I played the game and enjoyed it. It's not a particularly special shooter, its touted features are not utilized enough to be much more than gimmicks but it has its moments and is consistently enjoyable if you don't expect too much of it.

I paid 30 dollars for the Collectors Edition, and feel I got my money's worth. There were some good puzzle solving moments, and some scary stuff, a decent story, and LOVED the Art Bell stuff :D. The Shooting did what it needed to do. I thought it was a great game that either did stuff good or great, nothing was done poorly, gameplay wise. And the way Death was handled ingame was great, some say it made it too easy, but I'd rather have a game be "too easy" than do particularily hard parts over and over and over and over. If you want a greater challenge, play the hardest mode then, haha.

The game looks really good. I haven't played all the way through it yet. I just picked it up in Wal Mart's bargain bin for $10. I like what I see so far in the game.

It was a good game, but i've only played the first few levels. But i really loved the scene when you first see earth. It would be so scary to be abducted like that and then just see earth miles below you.
