The game was fine with no problems at all until I reached Neptune's Bounty, when I went inside the jet postal something boom the game froze for a sec and then the screen turned blue qith some writing on it for just a few seconds and my laptop restarted and now i cant even play form my old save in medical pavilion because that happens as well T_T thats the problem. So I serched the forums for the same problem and I found nothing that helped me, and I know I need to download the latest driver for my video card, but there's a big problem I look all over for it and found nothing it might be just me that can search this kind of thing in the right places. And yes i did checked both NVidia and Acer websites, and none had any drivers for my laptop
Here are my laptop specs: it's a acer aspire 5630 series, Intel Coe Duo T5600 @ 1.83GHz, 2GB of Ram and the video card is a NVidia Geforce GO 7300 256 ram, dont know the sound card but I dont believe thats the problem.

The latest drivers are 169.09, may be different for earlier series 7XXX cards. Not sure changing the drivers will help this issue anyway. Could be the laptop over heating, if you are running XP I found that when the graphics card driver got an error such as it goes into an infinite loop, XP would BSOD. Vista will just flicker the screen. Could be that is the issue. Does it always happen in the same spot? Have you tried an earlier save and going again? I personally use the 163.67 drivers, as I found them the most stable for my system, but my laptop has an 8700m so they may not work well for you. Try out a few versions you may find one that is better suited for your system.

Also did you read the Quickstart guide at laptopvideo2go? The standard installer for the latest drivers won't work on a laptop unless you follow the instructions on how to add the modded .inf before you run the driver installer.

yes I did added the modded inf and I've got the 163.75 it worked past the problem, until I reached the submarine with atlas family and yes i did try to run an old saved game in a different location and the problem continued to happen, sorry that I didnt specify before but it does BSOD and then restart my laptop and i dont believe that the problem is overheating since i used to play The Witcher for long periods of time without any problem. I appreciate(sorry if I mispelled it english is not my primary language) the help. I'll try something different ad post back tomorrow. Thanks again for the help

well when i took a look in the driver that darkness62 said he uses i looked a little further and found that someone in laptopvideo2go called a different driver "Bioshock driver" so i decided to give it a go and it worked, well so far I've only played a little. For anyone that is interested im using the 163.44, and the only slight problem is that Bioshock is runing a little bit slower, but at least it's working :). I'll post back if I find any problems with this driver.
