I really want my girlfriend to get into video games. Should I wait for Bioshock to be released, force her to play and enjoy Bioshock, and while shes playing propose marriage? Would this cement in her new found love of video games? I need relationship help and gaming tips.

Well, forcing your girlfriend to do anything is wrong, so you have my blessing.

So does that mean I can't force my girlfriend to not dislike so that she won't stop not liking playing videogames, essentially all the time?

~Sleepless in NantucketI'm not disputing you need help, :p but I'm not sure if video games or marriage are going to make things any better for you.

One question— is this really a joke or are you seriously considering proposing during BioShock?

If I know anything about women, it's that they generally prefer that sorta thing via the medium of romantic dinners.

every human being is different, so i dunno how you could get your girlfriend into games... but maybe you should try it with "happier" games first^^
you were the guy with the michael jackson thread, so i don't know if i can trust you ;)

Have her play world of warcraft. It's worked a bunch of times for me. The one I have now is a halo nut, :D

The problem with romantic dinners is that I AM TERRIFIED OF CANDLES. Fire = Hazard, and im not willing to burn down the neighborhood just to get some lady to marry me. I personally feel that proposing while she plays Bioshock will help 2K games to realize a potentially untapped market. The market for engaged couples to propose marriage who are also fearful of candles. Thank Bioshock for being such a heedlessly awesome game, we are all the merrier for this beautiful albeit morbid adventure!

Yea, I am going to propose holy matrimony to this amazing broad im dating. Shes a grade A babe, with hot stuff scribbled all over her. We also hate candles, and I am trying to force her to play video games, and also force her to love them, so that we can play together as we grow old!

Alas, I could not find a medical name for a "fear of candles".

Arsonphobia and Pyrophobia are fear of fire so those would be your closest bet.

option c, introduce her to bioshock, if she doesn't like it don't force her, not every girl is cool like me and loves gore in games AND spend more time on her a real girl rather than online

option c every time
