I'm going to go get these tattoos in a few weeks, and I can't wait. When I first started playing Bioshock, I noticed something on Jack's wrists. After playing around a bit, I saw that they were chainlinks, and I fell in love with the simplistic design. So, now I'm going to get them as my first tattoos. :D

Too late.

Someone already beat you too it. :p

Although his didn't quite look like the ones in the game...
So maybe you can get it right!

Make sure that they can be covered by long sleeves, or you might have a hard time getting a job. ;)

Haha, I don't think those are really a positive thing I'd want on my skin (look at me, I'm a slave! I obey! =D) but okay. It IS a pretty neat tattoo.

instead of chains get something that says "a man chooses a slave obeys" :)

Not on my wrist! If I was to put that phrase on let me have it on like...my back, where I'll never see it. =D

Step A. Get a girlfriend (Possibly skip step)
Step B. Get her to tattoo "A man chooses, a slave obeys" on her lower back.
Step C. ???
Step D. Prosper

It's not really an obsession, guys. I liked the style of the tattoos, so I'm getting it. I work at a radio station, and I already have a girlfriend. xP

But the quote is pretty nice. >_>

Saint, I hate your Avatar. I just got my first ever RRoD. I got mine at launch, so I expected it to happen soon.

Anyhow, the chains would be awesome. As long as a tattoo means something, then I don't mind people getting them. However, if one gets a tat just because others are, I find the tattoo as a sign of peer pressure and stupidity to follow.
If I ever get a tattoo, it'd be the slave chain as well.

I figure, below the chains, on one wrist it'll say, "A man chooses." and on the other, "A slave obeys." Personally, with that on my wrists, it'll be a personal reminder not to be put down by the 'man'! :P

But wait what if in the Bioshock sequel its revealed that Fontaine had the chain tatoo put there because he likes kinky rituals, or something. Or that Ryan was some ones love slave and had enough of it, hence the "slave obeys" speech

Yeh the chains might have a really really lame significance that is explained in the sequel.

They probably wont but just in case...

Are you thinking of the Dumbledore situation there, Big Jack? ;) Don't know if anyone else has heard this news story, will clarify if not... But this sounds pretty cool, especially with the words underneath. You could choose things with one, and be forced to do things with the other... ;)

Nothing wrong with being gay.

Equal rights and all that stuff.

at least not intentionally

probably just the tone and word emphasis doesnt get translated well over the web.

Ah, well it was just a misunderstanding, and that's all. I didn't take offense or anything, so no worries. Still, though... I wouldn't care if they thought up something crazy for the chainlink tattoos. XD
