Hi!

Hehe, sorry for that topic. Bet a few thousand people now think, salvation is near. Which brings me immediately to this question:

What the hell are the Bioshock-Makers thinking about their PR? It is completely ridicolous, that a patch for this game has not yet surfaced and not even an ETA is made after the game has been in store for 2 months already.

Beta-Testers were recruited, and no further information has been relayed to the actual users. WTF is happening here, are users so unimportant once they've spent their money on a boxed, buggy game?

Instead, CultOfRapture is posting happily about halloween customes and stupid awards and lotteries. And even Ken Levine is talking about followups to Bioshock, whereas this game is simply not playable on many computers: Corrupted Graphics, Missing Sound, Sound Stuttering, VSync issues, Mouse lag, Widescreen trouble.

I have bought the game on release and am waiting ever since that I can play the game. If I wait any longer, I'll simply ditch this game and play the other great releases later this year - but then, Irrational has lost me as an "early adopter" customer.

Now that I got this rant out of my system, feel free to chime in or excuse yourself. ;-)

Since I heard some games took even 2 freaking Years to make some Patch, I definitly dont wait anymore for 2k´s Patch anytime soon.

OMG.....are you guys serious? after all the frustration I had trying to get this game to work and dealing with irrational's LYING......I left the forums thinkign I will come back to find a patch. AND all i still see is flaming for the same thing! I'ts upsetting, you read PC gamer, Games for Windows magazine all give this game a 10 and HARDLY speak about the issues this game has. We all know that this game has serious issues! I bought hellgate london yesterday and will play that. But I will never let 2K forget the **** they put us through!

note: I used the word "LYING" yes because we were promised big daddy coffins which I have not seen yet. We were promised patches which we have not seen yet. We were promised answers to which we have none. The youtube video of me smashing this game to a million bits is on its way and oh yes it will be creative!

I installed Hellgate and right out of the box it ran beautifully NO stuttering of audio no CRACKLING and it loaded each level properly and quickly! The way games SHOULD be. Fix this game as I am a paying customer and have had enough of being LIED to.

The point of posting to complain is that bad publicity is very bad for any company. Remaining silent simply allows them to ignore their problems.

Called in the local Game Store chatting to one of the staff he informed me BoiShock sales have fallen off the edge of a cliff as he put it. I am not holding my breath waiting for this Patch to be released all the problems I have had with this Game has made me promise Never To Buy Another 2K Game ever again. Once Bitten as they say but we have been Savaged when we paid good money for this load of ****!:mad: :mad:

I've been testing the patch, though I signed an agreement not to talk about it, which is why no one is talking about it.
