Hi there people.

I have had the game for a couple of weeks now, the game worked fine with the first installation but i had a problem with my graphics card (changed to new one ATI instead of Nvidia). This is when the issues started to occure so i thought best to reinstall thinking this would hopefully sort the problems but it didn't and now the game hardly ever starts. In task manager it is saying it is a running process but no game and likes to lock up my cmputer.

Please can anybody help or suggest something.

Did you make sure to uninstall the old Nvidia drivers as well as to clean your system with Driver Cleaner Pro to make sure they are totally gone?

Hi

Thanks for the reply, Yes i did remove all drivers and used driver cleaner pro wouldn't do it anyother way.

The other thing i have noticed as well is that when the game does actually start all the settings are back to default (wierd S**T)

Can you post your system specs please?

First measures: Make sure your drivers and OS are up-to-date and seeing as you have a ATI card, make sure you have the Bioshock hotfix.

Hi Derangel

My computer specs are.

Asus A8N32 SLI Motherboard
AMD Dual core 4400+ 2.2ghz
2GB Platinum adition Corsair memory
Audigy Fatal1ty gamer sound card
ATI HIS X1950 ICEQ3 512MB graphics card (this is as fast as 2 nvidia cards)
Hard drive western digital caviar 250GB 16mb cache
2x Asus optical drives
Tower Silverstone temjin series
OS WWindows XP home SP2

I am currently running all up to date drivers, including the hotfix from AMD for
my ati card (hotfix 1.1)

When the game wants to start there are no problems when playing, apart from having to set up audio, graphics and keyboard settings.

Does this help?
