Hmm I must have missed some, I didn't get to fully upgrade my pistol.

There is enough, the two hard to miss ones is in the winery in Arcadia and the one where you have to keep Cohen alive. Its what I dislike though you should be limited in your decisions otherwise it becomes really stupid in the end.

yeah I hate how Bioshock makes it easy to excel at everything by the end of the game.

I hate the breakage upgrade to the crossbow anyway. I like to see the bottom part of the screen while I'm playing. So I don't care if I miss one of them.

I don't really think it matters if you upgrade or not. It's not like the game becoms impossible hard if you don't uprade your weapons :D
