I know 2K is the publisher of games,

but im quite sure they know a stonewall cert when they see 1
and they have some influence with Developer's like Rockstar and Rockstar Leed's.

If their is a game that so deserves a re-birth in 2007/2008 its Goldeneye
its 10years since the original on N-64 yet it is still 1 of the most remembered games by many of the older Gen gamer's.

I'm positive the newer gen gamer's will appreciate it just as much,
Goldeneye with the ability's of today's developer's and graphic's is a must be done game.

I hope that 1 of the teams 2K is working with the maker's of Mafia,GTA an Bioshock (hopefully up-grading for System Shock on XP/Vista) because apart from these Developers inc the Awesome crew at Bethesda, i cant see alot of good PC games out their, just mediocre games that pail in comparison with older story driven games like Goldeneye,Metal Gear Solid, Mafia & Morrowind.

Would be nice to get some games updated, though I think stuff like that is left to the Mod community. IP is a wierd wierd science, and causes no end of trouble with everyone concerned (just look at my eternal bugbear: System Shock 2...I want that game) so aquiring GOldeneye's license may be harder than it seems, and even if it isn't: devoting resources to an update will probably be seen as a waste of money, to the corporate management. Mod teams on the other hand :D :D

It takes a while, but at least they're get it done, and they're not slaves to the bottom line. I'm still looking forward to the Half Life update (Black Mesa Source I think it's called, or did they have to change the name...?) and peeps are working on updating Deus Ex to modern specs (another divine idea :D) so there are re-makes and updates appearing.....tis a good suggestion though, Golden eye is seen as a great game.
