Big Daddy wont fight.

I don't know if this has been posted or not so sorry if this is old hat.

I Just started the game again and during the first Big Daddy fight something strange happened.
I got him within one tiny hit of death and he just seemed to give up.
He just followed me around, All he would do was stare at me with smoke billowing from his suite.
Even if I went up to his sister all he would do was stare, as if to say just finish it.
It was quite sad :(

Now that's outright strange... hopefully just a very rare glitch :confused:
But the way those Big Daddies treat me, I'd wish the glitch sometimes happened to me :p

That doesent make sense. Big daddies die for their little sisters so they would just be like.... "o Fu** it.."

i had sort of the same thing happen. when he was low on health i stood on the stairs and he just ran around aimlessly way off in the room to the left (if you're facing down the stairs).

Same here. I had the Daddy on low health and at some point I was waiting around a corner to finish him off, but he just stood there looking around (lights on his 'helmet' where red, though) When I walk towards him he was still eyeballing me, but refused to do anything. I only had this with the first Big Daddy encounter in the game.
