Extra Resourses for Arabian Empire. (problem)

I was using the Arabian Empire for my last game and since I had a Bazaar in a city with cotton and pearls (one each) I was allowed one extra (two each) but when I traded both at the same time for one particular resource (silver) I lost all four. I could solve this easily by trading one at a time but what if the other civ only had one silver? I wouldn't be able to use my trick of helping them gain a resource and my civ gaining a resourse.

i.e. 1 "available" silver for 2 "available" cotton and 2 "available" pearls. After the trade I would have still had 1 cotton and 1 pearls and gain 1 silver. The other civ would gain my two resourses of 1 cotton and 1 pearls giving them an extra resourse even though they lost their only silver they had but it didn't work that way. I lost all four. (2 cotton and 2 pearls) and I ended up with only one silver.

What I'm trying to say basically is that I think there is a bug with the Bazaar feature for the Arabian Empire.

I understand what you are saying just fine. I have played with trade with the Bazaar bonus's before and noticed nothing but Ill go check it out now to see if its anything like what seems to be happening to you.

Just tested it a few times on different saves and stuff and it worked as intended every time. It COULD be a display glitch of some kind. I would pay attention to your :) and make follow these resources to insure this really is happening to you and if so, might as well PM it to the who ever it is that takes in these problems and replies with a "we will look into this" kinda response. Best of luck on this for ya and I'd appreciate it if you would share any future progress(or still not solved) on this.

I checked the Happiness and it was in fact affected by this bug. (If it is a bug) I thought I was going to gain 5 happiness but I lost 5. I'll try yet again and see if I was missing anything. It was actually the happiness level that made me wonder in the first place. If you test it again make sure the opponent has only one resourse and you have two of each. The problem might be specific to that criteria. (with a bazaar of coarse). Ideally both parties should gain 5 happiness each in the transaction.

I have seen this bug with other Civs than Arabia. I didnt get my extra luxuries from the bazaar, but from having more than one of them in within my borders.

And for me (like for you) the bug also extended to a loss in happiness, so it is not just a bug in displaying the correct number of resources.

Sadly the bug is not consistent, so i dont know what triggers it. I often do the 2 for 1 luxury deals without any problems.

Just to complete the bug report, I think I saw it while playing egypt and persia.

A further, possibly related, bug: Sometimes I have 2 improved luxuries in my cities, yet I do not see 2 of that luxury in my trading window, only 1. And when I trade it I loose the happiness.
