Mongol DLC no longer installed and multiplayer won't work

I can't seem to get the Mongol DLC to work. I had it once before, since now it won't let me re-load an old save because the mongol dlc is no longer there. and i can't find where in steam to re-download it.

And when I go to use multiplayer it tells me i need to log onto steam, which i am. is something wrong with steam right now? any help would be appreciated.

Can you exit out of steam and then go to the Steam folder ( default C:\Program Filesx86\Steam ( drop the x86 if you running a 32bit OS))
Can you delete everything apart from the STEAM.exe and the folder Steamapps .
Now run the file Steam.exe and when it finish try the game again.

I went ahead and restarted my comp, which restarted steam. Its working now. Not sure why it wasn't working before. Thank you for the reply though.
