Hey all, I bought the game before I finished my PC and finished updating said PC last night its a Quad core Q6600 @ 3.0GHz and 4GB DDR2 800 and 8800GTX card. Game runs great. But, it's been a while since I have played a single-player plot-driven game like this and I must say it freaks me out haha. I played HL2 which wasn't too scary more just psychologically weird. BioShock is like... creepy on two fronts: the atmosphere is very immersing and I haven't even played that much! I mean seriously, I barely get started and the voices you hear are just so-freaking-creepy. Either I am a serious wimp (no apprehension saying it!) or this game is seriously chilling.
Anyway, I think the game lives up to the hype and I haven't played for more than 20 minutes. Am I in for more creepiness? Is this about as odd as it gets...or?

I should bloody well hope it ran great on that behemoth of a rig. I've held back from playing it for a few days now as I am also doing a rebuild. Looking forward to maxing the game out and getting into it a lot better.

Just wait until you get deeper into the game, it only gets better. The latter Big Daddies are sweet.
