Playing my fourth game out of the box, with random settings, and encountered another bug related to the "endless peace treaty" where after a 10 turn peace treaty is over, the message saying so comes up again every turn. Happened until I declared war; in total, I got the "Peace treaty has ended with so-and-so" message for about 30 turns, and I think it probably would have gone on longer if I hadn't gone to war.
Anyway. TL;DR:
Can someone recommend some world settings that seem to be bug free for the time being (until the patch)? I've heard multiple things, but most consistently to not play on large maps, and to not own more than 70 cities. What else can I set to minimize the chance of a crash or glitch?
I have DX11 hardware, nothing fancy, but the game runs smooth on my system at 1650x1080 on a Radeon 5750, Win7 32bit with 3gb DDR2 just in case that matters.
I'm dissatisfied that the game isn't performing the way it should, but I know if I stick it out, patches will fix the bad stuff eventually. I will say that when it's not performing oddly or glitching, the game is awesome and makes me want to play that "just one more turn".
Thanks in advance. Cheers~
