Ok I've read that there are missing units, why don't we list em:

Axemen - Don't know if it was needed since copper was removed as a strategic resource.

Trireme (anti-galley) - would like to see this come back as a melee naval unit to set it apart.

Longbowmen (non-unique unit) - with the change in ranged units, I'm not missing this one so much

Cuirassers - always seemed to research Cavalry right after I got this unit - could ignore it since Lancers are in the game (would like to see them and cavalry have upgrades though)

Privateer - I really miss this unit, nothing like being able to raid transport units and Caravels

Galleon - don't miss it anymore with Embarking

Ship of the Line (non-unique unit) - I'd like to see something similar return, relegating the Frigate to a faster, slightly weaker (by comparison) ship and having the heavy hitting Ship of the Line.

Airship - never really built it (unless I had nothing else to build and was working on getting my fighters in every city) don't really miss it

Machine Gun - I'd like to see this unit make a comeback, defensive only, bonus vs. infantry, or something like that.

Transport - See Galleon

Marine - I think this unit still has a place in the game, kinda miss it

ICBM - REALLY miss the "push button, make a problem for a city on the other side of a huge map"

any others that people can think of and are missing? (lets avoid Unique Units for now)
