How do you harvest a water food tile?

If you have a food tile in the ocean, how do you harvest it or get the food from the tile? (not the ones with fish just a plain basic water food tile)

Food isn;t the reason to improve fish anyway, since it;s bugged and gives you +2 gld instead of +2 food.

Fish and pearls are the only watertiles you can improve, as far as I know.

Not a bug. It gives two gold instead of two food now.

I think it's a bug? The civilopeida states that you should get food.

so if you buy a tile in the water that has no fish but shows you get 1 food from it, do you just automatically get the +1 food per turn from buying the tile?
