...after the first couple hours of game play.
Spec's
3.21 GHz dual core (6400+ Black edition Intel)
275GTX nVidia (EVGA)
4 gigs of Corsair DDR3
Brand new install of Windows Vista x64
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
This system, by the way, has run every game I've thrown at it in high to max detail settings, including the resource hog ARMA 2 (which reduced many systems to melted puddles of plastic).
The FPS in Civ 5 seemed ok with 6 or 7 units on the map but after the first opposing civ contacted me (the Aztecs), the FPS just took a dump.
Settings are currently high everything with max AA. What, if anything, should I try reducing that will yield the greatest improvement in FPS with the least reduction in graphic quality?
Thanks!!
