Sorry for this,but i need to know.
I have both versions of Civ V,buyed from steam and pirate non-steam version.Unfortunately i cant use nonsteam crack to steam version so i must download whole game again:) And something wrong happen.
1)Getting Civ from torrent was way more userfriendly and same fast as from steam
2)Pirate nonsteam version shows a little bit better performance then steam version
3)Pirates will also provide us with DLC and patches (be sure they will)
4)THE CRACK.....my game crash not so much,but crash and it was annoying.After 7 hours with pirate version game crash only once and it was caused by resolution switch after alt+tab.
Why should i ever again pay for any 2k game when Pirates make their job obviously much better?In fact they need only few days to crack this (and make whole steam pointless) and make game much more stable.
I dont like the new face and way of CIV,but Firaxis and Sid put lot of work in this and if nothing i will respect their work.But i cant stand when some third party (2K) come with their greedy marketing policy combined with idea of DLCs (and boosted by idea of DLCs) and ruin the product.Actually due to DLCs 2K will never again release completed,fully worked and finished game.The best we can get in future will be some semishareware things like current Civ or Mafia II.And i dont like it...
Wanna know why is game released now and why is so ☺☺☺☺ed?Because due to some strange circumstances X-mas discount starts first september day (well its not so strange,just another greedy basterds have their own marketing policy) and 2k want to earn some money before things become disgustingly cheap.
Since from now i will never again pay for any 2K game,i can have them for free,faster and better working.Now feel free and call me trolling retard because that is what i am and my post leave you no alternative.But i want to do this since they release Mafia II,just sorry but i must.
Not english speaker and never learn english in school (only german and russian).So please apologize my composition and things please.
Btw im very curious why one of the good guyz in bussiness (That is what Firaxis are) work together with the most greedy guyz in the bussiness.
