I need Some clarification!

ok so I have Mulitple Question's (and maybe a Comment or two:D )

1. Is the Diplomatic Victory really as simple as everyone gets 1 vote Plus City states who also get one vote? that what i was getting at when i was just playing Everyone just votes for them self you have to rely on City states to win (But really It is more of a Economic Victory because all you need to do is buy al city states out the turn before the vote :mad: ) Unless there is something Iam missing

2.Can 2 nations not Become Allies? (permanent)

3. What happened to World maps!? (is there any way to get the world uncovered without all the Exploring!?

4.Do nations Always hate you if you are near them!?

5.when trading how do i how one Gem instead of my 3 Gems (3)?

2. No.
3. You cannot trade world maps. Explore away my friend.
4. Probably, they generally did in Civ4 also.
5. You are only trading one gem. The 3 is a reference number to tell you how many you have.

But how do i trade just 1 Gem i want to keep some for my own, I click on it and I offer them all

Also any encounter a Wierd Endless peace treaty?! i was at war with Washington, Than signed a peace treaty and waited for the 10 turns to be over and the treay Expired but i could not decalre war (it said we had a Treay) but we did'nt show in the Diplomatic section, I tried reloading a save, (so i forgot about and about 150 turns later i still could not declare war!!! (i hate washington forever now!!!:mad:

When you click it you are only offering 1 gem. It looks like you are offering them all, but trust me, you are only offering one.

Try it if you don't believe me.
