So OK, 2k editor is like most other one : stupid enough to spend a lot of money trying to protect a game that will be cracked and a the same time disturbing people who pay for the game. and your conclusion is : I won't buy the game, and you expect a lot of people to do the same so that 2k will remove their protection. But remember : THEY ARE STUPID. so they won't act like you would like them to do.
Now think about that : they are so stupid that they gave money to Irrational Games in order to make an incredible game called "Bioshock", probably thinking (because they are stupid) "omg, we are going to lose a lot of money, this kind of game is out of standard, who would play today a FPS without any online deathmatch ? but hey, we spent this money, so let's see what's happening".
Now what will happen if because of this bloody ☺☺☺☺ing protection you don't buy the game ? you will give credit to what they think. and definitly lose the chance of having great games during next years.
So don't think about 2k, think about Irrationnal Games and buy this Jewel. Personnaly, and because i can afford, now that i've bought and started to play the game on Steam i will buy a second one in a very nice box. Simply because it's the best thing i can do to promote game studio like "Irrationnal game" and say to this stupide editor : This is the kind of games i want to play, please give money to Irrational game so that they bring BioShock 2.
At the same time, i will say to them "Why not stop being so paranoiac and calm down with these stupid protection ? Your game is insane, you will sell millions of copies, don' t worry about that, piracy has allways existed since 25 years now, and video game industry is still alive"
