That is a very bad idea. I have a huge mountain range on the left, and two rivers on the right. I also have 4 Citadels, each with 1 *HIGH LEVEL* Trebucket + 2 Axemans + 2 Archers + 1 Knight. I also have the 3 local city states under my alliance. You will not win.

In Civ IV, I always stopped riots in my cities by taking citizens off of workable tiles, so they would run out of food and the rioting citizens would starve and go away.

I've been wanting a new game for a long time now, don't get me wrong, I've bought quite a few in the past year and have over 300 at my hey day of my gameplaying, but nothing that I've bought in the past year has really caught my attention or scratched that eternal gaming itch.

So, I've already been going out of my mind for the past year trying to find any game that scratches that itch but have failed to do so. I know, with 100% certainty that Civ 5 will scratch that itch for me.

(A) Spend 50 gold to reinforce the fuselage and launch on time.
(B) Delay the launch and lose 250 culture, and -1 Happiness for 10 turns.
(C) Abandon the project and lost all your gold, 5000 culture, and -5 happiness forever.

Need help? Well my advice would be to get an old DeLorean from a junk yard, buy that spare flux capacitator on eBay, watch the Back to the Future trilogy, and then go find yourself a Mr. Fusion reactor to power the time machine. It should work for you; after all, it worked for me (which explains why I'm from the year 1940 and trying to solve that darn Enigma code). :p

Haha, wouldn't it be awesome if they included a happiness victory? The first to create the Civ series wins! After all Civ makes just about anybody happy doesn't it?. You just need to get the great person Sid Meier, protect him from enemy civs, wait a few turns for him to create the Civ series, and voila, you win! :p

There likely still in bed or just getting up to get their coffee and shower, it's still only 5:25AM here on the west coast.

However, I'm taking the approach that it will be delayed until about 5PM (PDT) as that would not be unusual for the switch flipper to get in late to work or have so many switches to flip that he can't get around to Civ's switch until much later in the day like they sometimes do with other releases.

This way if it hits at 7AM, that will be all that much better, but if not, then oh well, check back at 5pm or tomorrow.

Btw BG your countdown is off. Its not midnight release of 24th internationally. Its once its 24th here in america east coast time. 9am i think. Otherwise aussie would get a HUGE head start. sorry...:D
