Simple. Will he play like Nemesis from resident evil, or be like a big sister?
I don't think it's been announced yet. I get the feeling that there will be more than one.

That's an excellent question. When they showed u the demo at PAX, he seemed like he's running ☺☺☺☺. But in the trailers for BS2, it looked like there was one big sister too, so you never really know.

Judging from the teaser trailer, it seems to be a bad guy. Not exactly sure what it is, though.

From what it seemed in the trailer there are more than one. When he throwed the guy and he was saved by Elizabeth she looked like she was in a different building. I don't think they have teleporting abilities...

It's confirmed in several previews, at least in the detailed ones. When taking one of those Handymen out, the character asked Elizabeth if that was the one chasing her, and she says that it's not him.
Suddenly, another Handyman appears, and Elizabeth says that's the one chasing her, and the demo finishes.
If that's not th proof that there are several Handymen, then I don't know what will the proof be.

Nonono Juan. Booker asks if the Handy they just killed is the one chasing her, she says No, then a giant flying crow like guy (that they are just calling HIM for now) shows up and she says "that one."

Ahhh! That clarifies it, but then what would be the point of putting the Handyman in the GI cover story, and in the trailer, if there would be only one? And if you killed him (or it), like that, it would be a bit anti-climatic, no?

Yeah, I think there are more than one. It would appear that they are made by a company... Who knows? We'll find out in a year and a half :P

I'd have to guess there would probably be more of them, each uniquely designed(?). I mean, you can't have every handyman sport a moustache, can you?
Strangely enough, the bird-like creature looks a lot like the main enemy Clockwerk from Sucker punch's Sly Cooper series.

I heard that too, but they are more like maintenance. But there is only one HIM.

Well, in the late 1800's-early 1900's, the style of the Handyman was considered.... modern. It was probably viewed as the next step in human evolution, (at first) seeing that the chest says "Automatic Body!", implying that it was seen as nearly indestructable. :P
