Ive like tried everything. Event turning of dx10 inside the game. Was getting crazy.

Guess what adding -dx9 to the shortcut got my game going. Guess disabling dx10 ingame is not the same.

Been playing for several hours now with no hickups.

ATI HD2600XT with Catalyst 7.8 (more stable than beta drivers)

Yikes, this forum is a mess. DX9 has always "worked"... but worked depending on what your problem is...

I tried that with dx10 didnt help. I tried everything. Only thing that helped was -dx9 switch. Guess atis hd2600xt is a bit new and driver still buggy maybe.

I wonder if anyone has had success with the -dx9 trick with a steam install?
