Synopsis: The story of how a young boy and his "Father" travel through Rapture and end up in peculiar place. Told from the boy's viewpoint
Part 1:
This old guy was one of the friendliest people I had ever met! and who knew he lived at the top of a lighthouse? Well my mom once said that the coolest people are always a little eccentric or uh something like that. Anyway this place is awesome! It has everything I’ve ever wanted and more. Also the old guy says I don’t have to leave either! That’s great cuz I don’t wanna! But the only problem is I haven’t found mom yet and my Dad simply disappeared like the moment we got there. Oh well he probably went to go beat up some people because that’s what he likes to do.
Oh yeah let me tell you about my Dad, he has the coolest job ever because he’s a Big Daddy. That’s means he can basically beat up anyone and not get in trouble for it. I want to be a Big Daddy when I grow up.
Huh? You want to know how I ended up in this place?. Ok I’ll tell but its really weird.
I’ll start from the very beginning
I had this weird dream where I was fishing in Arcadia, I remember that I was trying to catch a bigger fish than this kid from school and I was determined to do it. I would not lose to this guy! Well after about an hour of not getting any bites I lean over the edge of the pond thing to see if there are still any fish and then I accidentally fall in. I know, I know, really stupid move.
Then I remember waking up in my bed and screaming for help or something and guess who's right next to my bed? MY DAD! It was great seeing him again. Heck I haven't seen him since Mom kicked him out the house like a year ago.
Anyway dad suddenly begins to walk towards my bedroom door and then he opens it. I then follow him and we end up in the living room of mom and me’s apartment. I then call out to mom to say Dad's here but shes gone. I figure she probably went to get groceries from the farmer’s market or something. I ask Dad whether we should wait for mom or not. All he does is shake his head no (my dad isn’t much of a talker for some reason) then he starts heading towards our apartment door. When he gets there he puts me on his shoulders and then he walks out the door. Dad then slams the door really loudly for some reason.
You know I’ve always kind of wondered why Dad left Mom, I think its because she painted the apartment walls pink. I don't know what pink is because I'm uhh whats that word? colorblinded I think. But anyway I bet pink is really horrible because it made Dad leave.
