This may have already been covered, but there are now way too many threads to even attempt to search through them all.
First off I am impressed with Mafia II, it's shaping up to be a great game. But what is up with the control of the character? In Mafia, left and right made the character strafe, and back made him take a small step backwards. Also moving the mouse moved the character so you basically never saw his face. All well and good, but in M2 moving the mouse just pivots the camera around like we're still in 3D S Max looking at the model, and if you want to take a discrete step backwards, he lunges round and spins 180 degrees.
I'm sure I'll get used to it but it's a pretty backwards way of controlling the character. I smell a nasty whiff of console here...
