Just curious if you guys know when you are going to release more information (new details, screens, vids) about the game?
The game is sounding great and sounds like the hard work is going to make for an awesome game. But would like to get more information. I know we have asked for more information before and then came E3; it seemed like more questions about the game came out than the ones were answered.
So do we know when the next bit of information is coming out?? What kind of info will we see??
I know i would like to see more stuff to do with running an empire, flight combat (maybe how carriers work), and managing trade?!
To everyone else on the forums; what information would you like to see next??

I will tell you that moderators know nothing more than any other user on the boards. We are just volunteers who have a love for games.
As for Admins and Developers, well how about it? :)

Ever since the First Civ, Sid Meier was a mad genius he got me really into history at an early age; although i dont think that was his main goal.
And yeah i meant to put Admin, my bad.

As far as I can tell there's a pretty specific roadmap that 2K is following regarding the release of Civ V information. Since we're only two months away, I'm sure we'll see things ramping up soon. :)
2KGreg is the Community Manager of Civilization now though so feel free to continue to put some suggestions out there for what you'd like to see. Who knows, maybe it'll happen.

Hey there!
We're going to continue releasing information every week until release. If you haven't started following our community articles at www.civilization5.com - you should. We have a weekly podcast series and Greg is drafting several features that will go into more detail about new aspects of the game you guys want to hear about.
You can also subscribe to an RSS feed or follow our Twitter/Facebook page to find out when we post new info.

I want to know system requirements, more about the new engine, I would also like to see the AI in action.
Aside from that I would take some awesome trailers, or screens.
I am admittedly a Civ newbie only previously playing Civ Rev (which I know is vastly different) ; however I can't wait to sink my teeth in this one.

Thanks for the response Elizabeth. I use the main website every time to come to the forums but the only new news is the Podcast's, and no offense but it is not the most awesome news about the game. It is more of neat stuff; not saying the hard work the team put in to do this stuff, isnt cool  . I do like the pod series, hearing about where ideas came from and how/why they were put into the game.
Just really more curious on when we would be expecting the next things to see, not hear, about the game. Maybe a cool naval battle between some modern battleships, or Carriers eh eh ;) . We also havent heard too much about the economic system in the game. Oh also the system requirements would be nice soon, cause ive been looking to upgrade my comp; and i know what i had planned will be WAY over kill for Civ but it would just be nice to know. Cause many games now-a-days have recommended and preferred System Requirements.
Thank Elizabeth.
Just wanting to see new stuff, not necessarily the stuff i asked.

I know that this is probably a small detail to most of y'all but I use this quite often. Ya know in civ 3 when you go to your military advisor or go to do nogotiations with a civ they tell you among other things the strength of your civ compared to the other civ. Well I use it quite often to see if I should invade a perticular civ. Well I was thinking that it should be more detailed. It should tell you the strength of your army, naval and later in game airforce compared to the other civ. That way you can see if your navy needs strengthening or your army.

If you are looking for gameplay, you are going to have to wait a bit. That's rarer, but will come!

You remind me of my girlfriend; always telling me to wait  . What a tease.
But thanks for the reply. Look forward to the new info.

MORE LEADER ANIMATIONS!!! ;) Haha. They're so coool. I want to see Catherine and Augustus, they're the best.
And the goodies stuff in the community section. Maybe. Depending on what it is - its sounds interesting anyway.
I also agree with Akar with info on map sizes, it'd be fun to know, though not very useful, but fun. As well as game length; the number of turns - if it's the same as in civ 4. Well, i just hope they add a marathon length again, as they always do, if thats the case.

As for me I'd like to hear more about diplomacy in the game, what new features are there.Because we all hear that it's a new system but until now there were nothing new except the info that leaders are now animated and the info about the city states and it's not a real breakthrugh.
