I tried My no stuns or none plasmid headshots, never done anything like this but thought it worked out well...
I watched Cr1TiKaL's montages on youtube and Really Really wanted To do my Own Sooo.......

Actually that was fairly passive gameplay for Phly. Usually he's a lot more aggressive and slippery... Oh, the jumping... Normally, he's jumped over me 3 times and aerodashed by the time I land a shot on him. :p

I was noticing this yesterday. The good players move constantly, jumping or sidestepping. There was a level 50 I just absolutely could not kill. He would side step what would have been my killing shot every time and would manage to get the killing blow in. I know I have a tendency to move straight towards my target to keep my aim. This leads to a lot of deaths and is a habit I must overcome. And I think that tendency is inherent in a lot of players and is the difference between the good and the truly great players.

hehe, yes. You are very hard to get a lock on. Your controller configuration is very useful for a more agressive playstyle (thanx for sharing it :D ) Just curious, what's your sensitivity set at these days?

Nice comeback! With your high sensitivity and the sped up video, it gets pretty chaotic as you "move throught the room like an ambulance driver". Those daddy mines really did their work. I get to see how you deal with houdini too....walk forward like you didn't see them and turn around really quick--suprise!

lol, funny glitch. I've never seen that happen before, but then again there are several glitches I've never personally seen. Did the fire keep doing damage to him? or was it just an animation glitch? Also it seemed like the fire wasn't spreading to other players... I blame your "bigbrother-killing" connection voodoo ;)

Had a weird one just a little bit ago. The loadout I was using was EG w/Ammo Capacity with a secondary of GL for cleaning up the rezers. Game was very laggy, though not unplayable. I was killed and when I resurrected, I only had the GL. I could not switch to the EG. I tried "switching" weapons to see if it was a graphical glitch only, but all I could do was launch nades. Nothing fired slugs. So I went ahead and died quickly and when I respawned again, I had the EG, but it was the basic 2 shot version, I did not have the graphic of the mod. And it said it only contained two rounds. After dying one more time, it returned to normal.

Yup, it happens from time to time when the connection's really bad. Occasionally in those situations I'll end up spawning with no weapons or plasmids, then the connection usually drops.

Nice game! It looks to me like they quit so they could join a party and it they just so happened to join re-join your match. I enjoyed it for a particular reason that I won't mention. :p

It's kinda easy if you have TK. The object will automatically come to your hand as soon as you pull the trigger. Also the doors open on time and such things like that.

i have to say the beginning of your video where you grab the girl was absolutely beautiful

The lag on the PS3 is so much more different than on the xbox if the game was lagging on the xbox you wouldn't be able to jump or use aero dash (those pretty much only work if your host haha) but it seems that the hit registration is better for us in lag.

Here's my question, how did you automatically use Leg Up as soon as you picked up the Sister? Usually there's like a 3-second wait before you can use that tonic after capturing her, at least that's how it is on the 360, maybe lag is different on the PS3 like envoy mentioned. Or did you throw down a Geyser Trap and use that to jump, I couldn't really make it out, a lil blurry my friend, but great vid :)

I have to say, I'm actually impressed with this video despite the lacklustre quality. Phly, the fluidity of your movements makes it look like you're playing with kb+m instead of a PS3 controller. It's quite hilarious how well your erratic movements outclass your opponents' tracking ability (low FOV + slow turning speed doesn't help on that regard). Very fun to watch.

Btw, new cts players, take note of how exploitable Sister spawn spots on the low ground are (Home for the Poor, Farmer's Market, Point Prometheus, Fort Frolic, Mercury Suites) . Don't be afraid to leave the sister spawn spot and defend the vent or the high ground overlooking the sister spawn instead.

Lol, I feel so stupid. I was always curious why a certain player on the Xbox had been killing me so quickly with the Elephant gun, but this explains it all. Luckily the player isn't that great and can only focus on doing one thing at a time. Interesting video though, I learnt a lot from watching you Box Spam.

Does Box Spam work better when you have configured the buttons on your controller? Can't it be done faster if you press the buttons faster, or is it the same as long as you press them within a certain amount of time?

i dont do anything with my controller buttons i keep them on default just shoot x switch plasmid shoot again u have to do it fast to get it like i did so dont do it as fast as u can just fast enough cause as soon as you switch plasmids its good to go again and i dont know if it would work better changing the buttons i like the way my buttons are

Oh craps!! I have always respected him for his views and mannerisms. My thoughts and well wishes go to Rybow and his family, I had no idea things were going that poorly for him, I sincerely hope for improvement in his condition, I am not a religious man, but my hopes and the equivalent of prayer go forth for his recovery in this situation as well as his mental/spiritual recovery after pulling through.

Alright so these are two 2v2 matches that I played last night with a mystery teammate.:cool:

This kid keeps talking trash so I figure maybe this will shut him up. In the second video I was so confident we we're gonna win I no-stunned but my camera only had 5 mins of battery so it got cut short. These were game 2 and 3 of the 4 we played all on GMA ZOMBIE's host. 1st game they grabbed daddy with rules being daddy. 4th game Frenzy was wrecking them so bad they RQ'ed 10 kills in. Oh no, that's terrible! Rybow is a great guy, he's one of the best players here and yet so humble about it and always willing to lend a noob a helping hand and a warm welcome. Ugh this makes me so sad to read this, he is most def in my thoughts and prayers.

Ah I thought that was rate of fire CB, I was wondering why the shots were coming quick but not in one continuous burst like ROF. I haven't seen much box spam on the Xbox (thankfully!) so I guess I didn't know what to look for.

Easiest way to tell is by the sound of the shot (sounds kinda like "krash" rather than "ssip") and death in 2 hits rather than 3, if you see the player, they will be doing a kind of "reload" animation between shots where the RoF does nothing.

Anyone who wins using it isn't actually a winner, IF you know what I mean :p

Oh mannn, now I think I've played against a few boxspammers, I just never wanted to believe it was that prevalent on the 360. I thought we were better than that, but I suppose when there's something in a game that will give you an edge, whether it be an exploit or not, people are going to take advantage of it.

That would be like saying were better than suiciding or boosting. To my knowledge I'm the only player that does it in game. And even so I took dmg increase off of my loadouts. It's mire a habit now than anything.

And host always matters in 1v1s I don't care if I was box spamming. If I'd have stun headshotted it wouldn't have even been that close.

True, it was a 1v1 match. It just seems you have the skills to not even have to go there, I thought that's what set the 360 apart from the pack. But if you're comfortable with it, that's all that matters. I'm glad to hear it's not as prevalent as I had thought, I just never knew what to look for but I have seen people mucking with their crossbow in between shots. I just thought they had damage increase active and were reloading. But their shots seemed too fast now that I think about it.

i wouldnt go that far, there are definitely a decent amount of players that do it, just not for a living.

And i would agree that host always matters but that is why box spamming is so effective against host, especially headshotters, because box spamming eliminates the speed difference between headshots, for the most part

I'm posting this here as this is a thread he created. This is not Rybow, but I'm using his account as I never made one here. My names Craig and I'm Ry's good friend. (I'll refer to him as Ry, as I feel weird calling him Rybow all the time) You may have heard of me from some of his videos under the name C-Raiggae. I'm posting on here on his account as I have some news that some of you might want to hear about. It's late and I'm currently at the hospital with Ry's family and friends. As of just a few hours ago, Ry has not been responsive mentally from problems related to drinking.

Hes been drinking excessively for a few months now since certain personal things occured with him, and I posted this because Im sitting in the waiting room only thinking about whats going on, and I thought it'd be a good idea to let people know on here who might also care for him. I know this isn't the best place to post this, but I rarely look at these forums and I dont know the complete rules of how to do this.

It isn't looking real great for him right now so hopefuly he'll be in your thoughts. I'll update as more is known. And no, this is not a practical joke

edit really quick - I'm also gonna see if his parents can access his FB account to let others know there too so he can be in there prayers.
