i concur. a tip of advice, you should try practicing having your aiming reticle be at head level, because the problem you were have was that you really weren't aiming you were getting shoulder shots

I also tend to use GL when someone's using GL towards me. Just a clash of weapons is all. And you wouldn't know...I haven't played against you in ages...before I even used the GL, probably.

I don't complain about Cola's fairness anymore...I complain about his cockiness at being in the top for hours...because that's why he's there...for hours. He gets beaten all the time, so that's not skill, and that's not number 1 spot material. I could care less anymore because he's been up there for so long now. He's about 300 plus hours ahead, and that's the only thing I complain about...and I can't remember the last time I've complained about Cola's bees.

id have to agree with rybow here. when i can get at the very least 10 kills on cola and only one or two on rybow theres a big gap in skill there. i stand by my opinion that cola is only number 1 cause he either got the game before everyone or has no life and so spends all his time playing bioshock. plus, cola rage quits. wont play in a game thats halfway over and if hes getting headshotted he complains about the eb spamming while he spams IS. cola only plays for numbers which is stupid and pointless. why play a game if youre not trying to have fun?

Okay, I accept the validity of your second paragraph to be fair I haven't heard you talk about Cola specifically in regards to his playing style in quite some time now, but it is clear to see how one would figure that you were a hypocrite after your previous complaints. Then again, I play with Cola and I haven't seen him so much as touch TK or bees in quite a while, he's cleaning up his tactics. He still won't go into a match alone though, but then again almost everyone in the top 150 or so sticks in parties most of the time.

On the other hand I played against you not even two weeks ago and you were launching off explosives like it was the forth of July. IMO the real pros only use pistols and CB with RoF with incinerate, takes lots of skill and practice.

Nagol, the designers made multiplayer for a reason. Online was made for the purpose of competition and having friends play with each other so they don't have to go over people's houses.

You know Nagol, I did what you said and went into Word and held down the 9 button...after about 3 minutes my finger started cramping...but I hung in there. Now that is a big number...but I want bigger numbers! :cool:

I take a lead, then lose it, get down by 5 or 6 kills then make it up thanks to my aggressive turret, death trap and Big Daddy...also the fact the leader apparently went to the break room and was reading the paper for a while.

I changed a setting in my 'Pinnacle' program to see if it improves quality...I can't really see a difference...

In Youtube it looks better in small screen then in full screen...

I use some awesome music from Brian Wilson...he takes Gershwin's music and plays it Beach Boy style...the music soothes my soul, especially 'I've got Rhythm' and killing splicers makes me happy. :eek:

I changed a setting in my 'Pinnacle' program to see if it improves quality...I can't really see a difference...

In Youtube it looks better in small screen then in full screen...

I use some awesome music from Brian Wilson...he takes Gershwin's music and plays it Beach Boy style...the music soothes my soul, especially 'I've got Rhythm' and killing splicers makes me happy. :eek:

If you notice, I only nade for rezzers. So, usually, I headshot the person, and then use GL for when they rez. Other times were for the BD because crossbow doesn't do much damage to it.

Rybow i think that you should only use the GL to kill people that are to far away or if you run out of eve. Personally i think that you shouldn't use the GL for every rezzer its more effective to use electro bolt, your crossbow and if there are conditions where you can't then use the GL.

Looking at your most recent gameplay videos, it seems that you're much more reluctant to just pull out the grenade launcher and spam away than the average player. I believe you weren't as hesitant all that long ago, but you are now. Lots of "professional" headshot-splicers will almost always do this if they miss their first or second shot. It is SOSOSO annoying, I can't even tell you how much it pisses me off.

I will almost never use the grenade launcher out of principal, and that dependency it creates ("Oh! I missed! Oh well, let's just throw grenades until they're dead!"), but I feel if I ever faced you--which I'd like to here relatively soon--it'd be a fair fight.

And since I'm trying to become proficient with the no-stun headshots, I can use my leftover Eve to freeze my enemies when they die. ;)

It looked like you made the headshot that way maybe one time out of 3. I don't know if that's good or bad, I've never tried playing a match with no stun headshots. I should give it a try and see how I do. Probably not as well as you did.

I honestly don't remember their ranks, but I'm sure they weren't that high up. The "processing" problem recently has made it so that I can't get in to too many equal-rank matches, but every once in a while I can manage to get a few.

Yeah, I'm still working on my no-stun. I'm by no means great at no-stun headshots yet, but that's what I'm working up towards. Thanks for watching the video!

Well, here it is. A video with my Dazzle capture card...so now you can see with a little bit better quality. I use vanilla crossbow. I've never really done much of the piercing, only enough to complete the trials. Oh, and remember when we had that match paired with Ven today? Yeah, I find the combo really fun. It might take a while to get used to, but once you get the hang of it, it's fun watching peoples masks fly off with headshots.

First, when you're seriously injured, instead of waiting around for your health to come back, you keep on hunting for other players and then attacking them, low health or not. When I'm injured, I stand around behind a wall or someplace and don't come out until my health is 100%. Although it worked out fine for you, you didn't seem to die because of it.

Second, nobody hit you with electrobolt much. Is this normal for you?

Yeah, it might be because of my mentality that I use with my other loadout. I can usually run around and kill people instantly with the EB/CB combo and not worry too much about my current state of health. I guess that was still in my mind to keep running and killing because that's what I'm used to, haha.

People tend to miss me when they use EB, but in this match EB was noticeably lacking, I agree. When I normally get hit with EB in my regular loadout, I just zap them back, throwing off their aim. TK seems to be the thing that hits me the most in other matches, however.

Actually, I've never used Slugger outside of KEK, and I never played KEK longer than a few days. I'm definitely gonna try that one out. I'll definitely have to try a more sneaky approach than my usual playstyle, haha.

One of my videos is still uploading, and after that one finishes, I'll try it out. When I'm uploading videos on YouTube, I can't play an online match at the same time, unfortunately. It lags like no other...so I guess I only can have a limited amount of Internet usage to use at a time, haha.

I liked the winterblast/aerodash combos, you pulled it off a few times.

The video illustrated the problem with winter blast, though. People keep electrobolting you, so you have to keep switching to aerodash, then once you've got that selected you end up using aerodash more than winter blast because it's actually more effective.

And you got that same glitch that I sometimes get, where you hear this "whoosh whoosh" sound for a long time. I thought it was just me who got that!

I agree. I have Winterblast in my loadout, but it's more of a defensive plasmid for me. I just use it to stop resurrection, to hack faster, and to slow down the occasional Aerodash. Really, you're probably better off just firing your weapon first and Winterblasting after you've taken them down.

Yh thats what I ment rybow use slugger, fast feet, and leg up. I used these in a survival of the fittest and won a couple of times, its so funny people on there mics are so angry im getting one hit kills from danny wilkins football trophy. Haha

Plus that last video was pretty funny, i can never pull of combo with aero dash and winter blast. Around 2:56 when you aero dashed into the hacked vending machine tho, hahahaha

Lol, you shouldnt have said it was bad quality. What you should have said was that you managed to turn the gameplay into 8-bit quality! Would have been more interesting.... :p

That was definitely entertaining to watch. It was interesting to hear about some of their opinions on most of the weapons. It was funny when they talked about the GL and said how it sucked and wasn't powerful...now tons of people use it, including me for clean-up.

Yeah, I noticed when they were talking about the elephant gun, they said it was OSK as long as they EB first. I was shaking my head, haha. Imagine how over-powering the elephant gun would be if it was OSK for any part of the body, haha.

Anyway, it was really fun watching it. I love when games just come out, because everyone's just as confused as everyone else. It's such a fun experience.

Apparently if you hit a big daddy with a charged up incinerate, it takes 1/3 of his health off immediately.

Also, the heat seeking rocket is "pretty effective in taking down big daddies". It does 42 damage, fires every 1.5 seconds. Good luck with that.

I got mine through amazon about £150 i think, its hard to find any cheap or second hand ones as other than a black magic capture card the HDVR is at the top of the tree so people generally don't upgrade after they buy one

I got a dvd recorder which means, to record i'll have to play without using hdmi cable, and use the old red white and yellow cables.

Tried it this morning and it was horrible, the lag was the worst i'd turn right and he'd turn like 3 sec's later, tried playing other matches to see if it wasnt just the host's connection but, i couldnt even get a kill, so i dont think I'll me recording. =(

Good video! The shotgun is definitely a formidable weapon for finishing enemies off if you miss your initial headshot. I also liked that Aero-Dashing action! Nice!

Thanks! Yeah, it's definitely a fun loadout to play with. Aero Dash is very glitchy sometimes, but a lot of the time it goes okay. It's a cool sound just getting a headshot without anything before it. :) Thanks for watching it.

In my experience, Resurrection is just useful because occasionally, while your enemy waits for you to resurrect, they're killed and their murderer doesn't know that you're not dead. It gives you the chance to escape or finish them off instead. :p

I always appreciate seeing someone doing something besides EB/headshot. I noticed that after you geyser trapped them, you rarely bothered to follow it up with electrobolt. Why not do that more often? It's a sure kill.

Of course, every time you do the geyser trap/eb combo, you burn half your eve.

The extreme basics. Windows Live Movie Maker. Not just Movie Maker, but the other one.

You have to get a capture card...I just bought a Hauppauge, but I am having trouble hooking it up. :(

Yes, I have seen the Youtube videos; but when they plug all the wires in it works for them.

I have to try setting my Xbox at 1080i and see if that works.

After shipping it was a little over $200

PVR's dont like to record in anything above 720, though the results at 720 are better than you'll ever see on your tv at 1080 trust me on that. what problems are you having setting up? are you a mac user?

Thanks, EB always comes in handy...I seem to run into a lot of nailgunners (maybe not in that game) and in Arcadia people always are down in the water so I give them the experience of taking a bath with a plugged in hair dryer :eek:

I use HDPVR capture software http://www.steventoth.net/blog/products/hdpvr-capture/ which i think is written for mac but might be a pc version, its just recently been patched and works great, i use imovie to render and always render at the videos original bit rate size etc. drop the guy an email on the website i attached as he's really helpful

thats awesome lol, i'm toying with the idea of using my macbook as a bluetooth device to control the ps3 but button mapping may be a problems though i've got some software that allows the mac to see the ps3 controller so might be a way to switch it
