When Blizzard produced Starcraft and BroodWar years ago, they included an install spawn feature.
This works well for those of us who purchase the main game, and its expansions, and need to spawn the capability to play on a 2nd computer occasionally, for a 2nd player to play the game with us on a LAN.

Will there finally be a Spawn capability on this Civ V CD?

This is important, because, I've read in other forums, that because, Civ V will be using Steam exclusively, which prevents the ability to play 2 player games with 1 game version.
As this game looks like it will cost $50, initially, and probably another $60 for two more expansions (typically).
The price would become cost prohibitive for 2 complete versions of Civ5 and its expected expansions.

You pay 50$ for a piece of entertainment, you can enjoy as much as you desire. In comparison you could go see a movie a couple of times. I would say that a good game would give much more entertainment per 1$ spent. I guess time can only tell if this game will be worth it, as we aren't hearing anything at all at the moment.

Concerning the spawn feature, then I'll answer that with a question: Do you only pay for one ticket when you and your friends go see a movie? While spawn was a nice feature back then, Blizzard also discarded it for future games.

steam will probably have a multipack for l4d it was like 120 for 4 copys i forget but the might have had it for other games, it would be up to the developer i would think, would be a nice option. I have a few freinds with borthdays in october getting them all civ5 to play would be a sweet deal as i would also get a copy free.
