Anyway, I don't feel the most sorry for Frankie ending up in the trunk because (by all accounts) he's probably an FBI angent...

I like the quotes about Organized Crime being a myth and communist a bigger worry.. yeah right. :rolleyes:

I do have to say that I don't like how the TV in the graphic was only made 1958+ but what can you do.

I meant the TV in frank's Apartment, the literal one. It's a Philco Predicta, made 1958-1960 and contray to popular belief, very unpopular and faluty. Sort of the Edsel of TVs, rare but recognizable. :o

I'm assuming you never followed the SitS campaign for Bioshock 2. :P Basically Liz and whoever else is working on the project with her is going to update the room with new stuff either once a day or once a week (forgot which) and this will include new letters, messages, etc.

Now, I don't know how she's going to do this campaign, but the last campaign had a whole story behind it and it included puzzles and codes and was pretty fun. The SitS campaign lasted a couple of months I think so I'm sure its safe to assume that we're going to be doing this until almost August so no one can complain about not having anything to do or follow haha. And if this is as successful as SitS, this story will overlap with the Mafia 2 story in some way.

If you have any other questions, go on the Bioshock 2 forum and search SitS and they'll probably have a link to the website so you can check it out. Or just search Something in the Sea on google.

Xarxas said that it's like SitS, it'll be updated each day/week 'till august.
With puzzles, exclusive screenshots and more. Plus, it'll tie in with the Mafia II story.

Like myself and others have said before, It'll be updated.

I found a new screenshot inside Frankie Potts apartment.

To find it do this...

Go to Frankie Potts apartment, Look at the bathroom it should be glowing red. Double click the bathroom, It will enter you into a photo room with water. Move the picture around a bit in the water, It then becomes a clear photo left click it. And it appears on screen! :D

Well, nothing showed (anywhere) withing ~15 minutes of application, and nothing now (spam or otherwise).

I tried re-entry but I can't due to my email being "taken". I have 15 days to sort this out though, so I'm not highly concerned.

Heh, he must not be the best at code writing ;) . So by the first letter, he's stating that Frankie's alone. And by the other letter he must be suggesting mafia-active locations. Maybe the dad is a bigger FBI player. :confused:

Yeah, it reminded me a bit of Donnie Brasco too.
Altough this one's surprisingly more realistic.
(Yes, I know Donnie Brasco was based on a book written by a real FBI investigator. That's why it's surprising me so much.)

The feds are denying the existence of organized crime, and focussing on communists. I really liked that part.

Ofcourse, Donnie Brasco took place 20 to 30 years later. So it's only natural that everyone knew the mob did, infact, excist.

The first note we saw was the one near the camera, the top one.
Then the letter underneath it became click-able.
Then a note appeared at the mirror, left corner of the room.

Then the picture in the bathroom appeared.

actually, the picture appeared first and THEN the note at the mirror appeared after :)

I highly recommend that you look up Something in the Sea on google and be prepared to be blown away with the level of detail and description. I, personally, can't believe that Liz basically did all of the work by herself (with the help of a couple of other people I think).

I just don't understand why you didn't opt to do this earlier, when we were facing a major drought? It would've been better suited then, regardless, thank you for this...I guess this is what really separates 2K from other gaming studios, in that they actually CARE for their games...unlike EA;)

Remember that we were facing the drought during January and early February when she was busy with Bioshock 2. In fact, I think that SitS didn't completely end until the end right up until BS2 came out on February 9th. Besides, 3-4 months of this will give us plenty of information for the Frankie Potts story and I don't think it could last much longer than that.

About the Frankie Potts story, I thought the new screenshots were pretty cool looking. I'm curious as to who the guy in the black coat is that's talking to Harry in the black room picture. I also wonder if we'll be able to meet the bartender (Johnny Morgan?) in-game.
