This may have been suggested, probably has.

I wish that after quite a bit of usage of plasmids that they upgrade like to telekinesis 2 and stuff. Kinda like the pro perks in COD. (of course some balancing would be needed)

I also dont like that the attachments are purely based on rank, I think while using the Pistol for x amount of kills I should unlock the pistol attachments.

I wish that there were more tonics and plasmids.

Maybe it's because balancing reasons

In GTA IV i can shoot someone's head and get a headshot very easily with any weapon:p

So maybe the Blindfire is really blind without any crosshair, to make the game more balanced and give it its dangerous feeling like the first game
