and there's been no talk of whether rackets and other mob-like elements will factor into the gameplay. I sure hope they do -- Mafia II needs some meat on its admittedly lovely bones.

Well, my guess is that they are just giving it to all the reviewers, A demo in the future wouldn't be too bad and will also make a hype, and since its already made, then they don't even need to put in any job into it.

Dated? ..Alright, everyone has there opinion. I disagree though, but that could change, I'd really have to get my hands on the game before judging the gunplay.

This dude that wrote the article, played the game, so it's well deserved to hear him out.

they've said the gunplay is based on games like Gears and Uncharted, both excellent, as for calling it dated?? not even sure what that means & what's the point in some "new" :confused: mechanic if it doesn't work?

is only so much you can do with a 3rd person game, got to get basics right and the cover system looks fine to me.
