:o can anyone tell me what this game is actually about as i'm looking to buy it but dnt want to waste my money if its boring .......what is the storyline etc..all i can make out is a city underwater(but how did it get there) was there an apocolypse or something and who is that guy in the weird suit...and who is that kid ...i cnt get the jist of it.....i love horror and action and shootin games so can anyone please enlighten me as i need to know the storyline before i buy..many thx:eek:

its just that i like to know the basis of a game first ..as am sick of wasting my money on buying games with good trailers and then finding the game cr*p if u knw what i mean.....as games these days are not cheap lol...many thx for the link :)

Let me just say that there's absolutely no danger of that - the story, characters and storytelling in both games are absolutely top-notch. Part of what makes the story so well-done is the way it's told in the game itself, with numerous plot twists and largely told through creepy apocalyptic logs, so definitely be sure to give it a shot.

Well, Bioshock is a league of its own when it comes to the story, compared to the average FPS. So the sad thing is that you might wish you hadn't read the story before hand, since that will deprive you the "Wow" of finding it out during the game...
