why does the game say version 1.0

after patching it via GFWL? Shouldn't it say 1.1 or something like that?

It said the patch installed successfully. Is there anyway I can verify that it DID?

I'm not sure if the 1.1 patch is possible to install that way. Google for the manual patch and install it. There should be no harm in installing it again, overwriting files with virtually the same files, but you'd make sure you really have it. If it still says you have 1.0 it must be a bug in the opening screen. It should be 1.1 anyway.

Go there. Download it. Unzip to desktop. Double click and install the proper way.

It will show as 1.1 at the bottom of the start screen when installed correctly.

Look at your link. You downloaded v1.0.0.1, whatever the hell that is, not v1.1. That's why yours still says v1.0

Why are you people downloading patches from sites like telefragged.com anyhow, when you can download the official patch direct from the maker of the game itself? :confused:

i tried to dowload it from bioshock 2 when its done it says something interrupted the download...
