if an admin could answer my question please?

so for some reason i cant play with my brother. we have two consoles (360) and two copies. we try to play MP but we cant connect to each other? and when we do it kicks one of us out right away and we cant even join a session in progress. now i thought oh one of our NATs might be mod or strict? no they're both open and we throw in cod mw2 and we can connect/find games with ease. so if you could please explain why it does this i'd appreciate it.

Can you please confirm how you are connected? are you connected via the internet? are you using a router? Is it a wired connection?

To check your NAT please do the following;-

From the Xbox 360 dashboard move across to 'System settings'
from under 'My Xbox'
select 'Network Settings'.

Now run the 'Test Xbox Live' option,
while your Xbox 360 may function fully online this process will tell you if you have a strict or moderate NAT.

my main console is connected to a modem wired. my brothers console is connected to a router. the route is connected to the modem and yes, both the consoles do have different ips. and both the nats are open. on cod mw2 when we join MP it says your NAT type they both say open. we threw in gears 2, halo 3, borderlands, and l4d2. we can connect fine and people can connect to us also with no problems at all. but on bioshock MP lobby he can't join my main console but i can join his. and even when i do he searches for games either i get thrown in one or he doesn't even connect to it. and if i do try the join session in progress it will say unable to connect.
