I'm wondering, do they get more battle torn/spliced up the more game's you play? Since its the start of the war, their probably not already crackheads...

the more u level up, the more adam u will collect, and the more adam u collect the more spliced up u will be...so yes u will turn ugly

The player gets more and more screwed up as you progress. Here's a pic of one of the characters before and after.

something that I think would be cool is if you don't like you face a screwed up then you could go to Stienman to make yourself more presentable.

But remember; the multiplayer takes place befor jack goes to rapture. The only problem that may happen is stienman brutaly tearing your face of due to your hidiousness.

I remember an earlier interview where the dev stated that the f'd up model is just how the player sees other players of the same character. I really hope that is bs or a dropped concept. Has anyone without a shadow of a doubt confirmed that the character deformation is based entirely off of what level you are?

i really hope that their uglyness means how powerful the splicer is
it be would so much more fun to run around as a deformed splicer
