How will the PBD inject EVE? [Archive]

Obviously from the concepts I see he has a tube of EVE going into him, but where is our slightly disturbing few seconds where we see a man jab himself with a filthy needle? It's not like the needle can pierce through his suit, or can it?

if you can find the concept art of the pbd's hand theres a kindof circular ?valve? (i really dont know how to describe it) but it looks like it can open so he can inject himself

Didn't the PBD have an EVE "tank" attached to him at some point? Maybe he merely replenishes the tank instead of directly injecting himself.

i dont think ADAM can cure diseases. it just gave you extra stem cells that could be genetically manipulated to give you plasmids.

Theres a gameplay video around that shows the PBD vs a Bouncer. He uses Electro-Bolt a bit and uses up his EVE and it just kinda... replenishes without the PBD doing anything. My guess is its part of the suit.

They way it was described in the game ADAM can pretty much do anything.

I suppose you could manupluate your genes (or DNA) till you were immune to whatever you had.
(It would have to be a specificly designed Adam product I think.)

But its all speculation :p

The EVE is injected intravenously and wen you use up your EVE it replenishes so idk if you are going to have to still get EVE to fill up your tank but the PBD doesn't inject it into himself like jack.

Well you definitely use the EVE hypos. Hunting the Big Sister showed us that. And we have the Intravenous EVE Delivery System (I.E.D.S) :p, which will supply us with EVE when we need it (though a didn't see an EVE reload animation. That makes me sad). I'm thinking the valve/hatch on his arm will be what he uses to fill up with EVE. And Plasmids.

It could just be like a normal intravenous drip where its just put into the blood steam some every couple seconds.

but I don't think that port is for EVE, I think the other guys are right in that there is a part of his suit that auto-injects him with EVE. I believe that port there is for injecting NEW Plasmids as you come acrossed them in the game. So...

I agree it wouldn't make sense that the PBD would have to press a button or pull a hatch to get EVE it probably just goes on its own.

I think this is the picture he was eluding to.

Anyways i think i'm gonna go with the others,the blue tank on his back has to be his eve tank,which should supply a steady flow of eve intravenously.Although it has been shown that we can collect eve hypos,i think collecting them automatically fills your tank when prompted to similar to the first-aid kits and food.

^THIS was the picture. It makes sense that the tubes on his back fill the pbd up on eve and as people have said in the previews eve auto-fills...but the mystery remains: what is the port for? Decoration? Maybe its for injecting plasmids?

I know the animation you're talking about. Yeah, it looks pretty impressive; the only reason I didn't see it before was because it was kinda difficult to tell in the video if he really was reloading EVE or pulling some fancy leveled-up-plasmid trick.
I blame the flashy, but awesome, electro-bolt,the electricity of which is difficult to distinguish from the EVE tube.

The reason it isn't visible in most videos is because they may not have made that specific animation yet. It's impossible that he get's eve through the tank, because other BDs have (and thus NEED) one too, and they don't use EVE/plasmids. So we might get an injection scene in the full game, or a tube connected to some other storage place like soundwave suggested.
But if he had one big tank there would be only one BIG EVE tank on the HUD, and there would be no reloading.

Alright, this is info I, at least, consider factual.

1) There is a tank for storing EVE on Delta's back.
2) He does reload EVE. He does it through a tube in his arm. Like an IV drip. But it's not a constant feed; he has to conciously reload EVE in doses. I've seen the animation.
3) In terms of gameplay, the mechanics of reloading EVE are identical to Jack's.

I don't know this for sure, but...
4) The valve on his arm is used for needles and stuff.

It also looks like the PBD will keep the hypos until needed when he finds them. I mean that when he picks them up, he doesn't instantly put them in his tank, my source is the Hunting the Big Sister demo, when he goes outside and he picks up a hypo and just stores it. He couldn't possibly refill his tank inmediatelly because he was underwater, and if he opened the tank, water would flow in.

Did anyone think about how the PBD's suit doesn't fill up with water because of the holes in his fingers? There's a type of mesh-like material that doesn't let water through. Just wanted to throw this out there...

Might be the same concept as a dry suit, which seals at the wrist & neck so only the hands & head get wet

Yes this settles it, Delta makes a sort of... hand-squeezing-eve-reload gesture more than once in that vid.

the adam probably alters his matter and breaks it down and rebuilds it into living bees who see him as the Queen
