Disconnected from Xbox Live?

So I go to play my first h2h since playing Morte yesterday ...against a guy named J VanImpe and on the first turn I get a message saying I disconnected from xbox live.


So I get an automatic loss....this smells awfully fishy....wtf is that crap.

And obviously I wasn't disconnected since I didn't have to reconnect like I always have to.

A similiar thing happens on PS3 from time to time. Hard to know if it is player caused or not. I would say most of the time it is because of bad connections or lag.

It happens to us a lot too. I wouldn't worry about it.
