I dont think so, it could but i think that was just a demo to show some different things that will be available in the game. Another reason why i dont think thats the beginning of the game is that you start with Incinerate 3, i think they're going to make you work your way up to the better plasmids instead of just giving them all to you at the beginning

i doubt it. because it wouldnt be really fun if in the first couple minutes of the game you got stabbed in the torso with a needle and lost all of your hard earned ADAM

From what I've heard, the only location that will actually be used in the game from that demo is Fontaine Futuristics (Is that how you spell it? xD).

Hopefully that will not happen. I can imagine a lot of fury and rage and broken controllers if it is.
Unless its like the beginning of every single Need for Speed game where you start off having the best, souped up car and then it turns it out it was dream/you were borrowing it from a friend or something and you're really starting from the bottom.

Prototype did that to, you start off towards the end of the game with the 'get to know the basics' with all of the power ups and then it sends you back to the beginning like a flashback and your explaining to someone on the phone what happened (as your playing it) its an awesome game in my opinion, but not as good as Bioshock

Definitely not. That video was unrelated to the story, and was a random string of rooms to show off some new features. That's what I've understood anyways, and I'm sure many could confirm this.

i think that 2k has said that those nine minutes were just to show everything new in bioshock. they did not have much to do with the story. minus the big things like yourself, BS, and tenenbaum.

I hope not, the only real beef i had with the original Bioshock was how the game started, in which you were tossed into the city and told "You figure it out" Basically there wasn't much buildup to that point, plane crashes, you go to Rapture... and that's it.

That's the best thing about BS1

I'm pretty sure that it isn't. I remember reading (correct me if I'm wrong) that Ryan Amusements is the first level.

That's been confirmed in the oxm magazine

Yeah, the Hunting ... demo is just a demo, and has been confirmed that it's not anywhere in the game (I think Elizabeth said that in some thread)

Actually Ryan Amusements is the third level or so most likely. OXM said that it appeared about 2 hours in.

Yeah the Hunting the Big Daddy demo for bioshock 1 didn't turn out to be a level at all, so I don't think this one will be.

As said, there's a reason it's called Hunting the Big Sister. In relation to Hunting the Big Daddy, they were just levels made from elements of real levels used to display game dynamics.
They have said Fontaine Futuristics will be in there, but I'm suer it won't look exactly like it did in the beta level.
By the way, it's BETA level, not DEMO level. DEMOS are small parts of finished gameplay.

doubt it cause you started the game with several eve's and medi packs plus incinerate 3

I highly doubt it, but who knows. Maybe that's just a demo for the viewer, not a game-play demo.

Yeah, that too.

It's a jumble of some of the levels.

i think its just the tutorial level like in Bioshock with the welcome to rapture level. Im guessing they will call this level WELCOME BACK TO RAPTURE or something like that.
But what bugs me is if you already have all these high class plasmids in the beginning then wouldnt that make the game easier.
Is something going to happen to make you lose all your plasmids?
Is the Big Sister going to drain the ADAM from you so you have to start all over again?
These are the questions that haunt me in the night when i sleep in my run downed apartment of Rapture's Mercury Suites???

I don't believe that is the beginning level seeing as Tenenbaum acts like she already knows you and you have incinerate 3.

wat, it wasn't an actual level?
So the only proper footage i've seen was the multiplayer trailer. I beg 2k to release another trailer. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaassssssssssssssssss ssseeeeeeeeeeee

i really hope its not the intro to bioshock 2. they need to make it more interesting like the intro to bio 1
