Just got a trial live account and an ethernet cable. Downloaded the Bioshock demo. Never used Live before!
Wow.
that's all I can say. properly impressed. really looking forward to mt preordered ltd ed tin!!!!!!!

I was an Xbox Live virgin until only a few mths ago...it gets better m8 believe me!! Not sure if theres gonna be any multiplayer features on BioShock but hey...if anyone knows more than I do...

I was sceptical about the value of xbox live, but then i upgraded my whole home network (an imac and a win me based pc - hmmm????!), so now i have bt total broadband (online for the 1st time at home in 4 years!!). So far its pretty great!
I am now converted totally...apart from this gamerpoints nonsense? Went all misty eyed at the retro games - We need Duke Nukem 3D though...
Have been kicked off the 360 cos the missus wants to watch Bones!! And I'm going to work in a bit.

I can't wait until I can afford an 360 in general :( I like to follow lots of blogs and gaming news sites and from what I see it is something I would really enjoy.

My 360 is so much more than just a gaming machine now thanks to XBL.
And I refuse to pay a monthly subscription service for a single game ever again!

Live is amazing, even more amazing is there are people with a 360 who haven't signed up.
Really, Live is pretty essential to the 360 experience, i can't fathom running my 360 without Live.

I had my xbox 360 for 8 months before I decided to join live, can't believe I waited that long to do it, internet gaming is just so fun

yah xbox live is pretty sweet, i COULD live without it, but it DEFINITELY adds a lot to the experience
Even if you don't want to pay for Gold, you can still get so much stuff out of Silver that it just doesn't make sense not to sign up for Live.
It's easily the best online plan of the big three. (Sony's trying to catch up, but Nintendo doesn't really seem to care.)

I can remember when i bought xbox live. I went home and played Rainbow Six: Black Arrow.
