Go into Paint (assuming you have Windows), copy and paste you avatar, copy the santa picture, paste it into paint (make sure that the hat and your avatar are NOT touching). Next, use the weird shape (outlined by a dotted line) tool to trace the edge of the hat. When done "cutting it out" it will put a box around the hat. Click and drag the hat onto your avatar. Adjust size to your liking. Save. The End! :D

Why thanks. I have decided to dress my avatar up for every major holiday with a mask, hat, etc. lol. And I don't know why, but the santa was light red but for some reason Paint changed it for me to the color you see and it really does fit into the picture very well. Thank-you Paint!

I couldn't even get close to affording Photoshop. $600!
I just know what I'm doing in Paint.
Tips for Santa-hat making
~Use the magnifier tool
~Cut hat out using the little dash-line irregular shape
~Place on head of avatar and move/enlarge to your liking
