View Full Version : No PS3 INSTALL PLEASE THIS TIME On Bioshock 2

There no need to Install it to hardrive on PS3 i know it has a slow blueray drive, But EA games and other developers can make games work with out Forced install on to hardrive. So please use the spu processors better this time. This isent having a go at 2k but the frustration of Installing a game that really shouldent need a install to run it.

yea thats what im concerened with too. KZ2 has no instal, Uncharted has no install. 2K make some effort to bring BS2 to the PS3 without an install :)

Although I know exactly where you're coming from, I think I'm going to have to disagree. From my personal experience, installing games can take up quite a bit of space, but it's necessary for the game to load significantly faster.

Yes it loads faster but the PS3 version still never kept the same framerate the xbox 360 did thats why it needs more work on it. Thats why EA and other developers now make the PS3 the lead console platform then port to the xbox 360 then both games get good versions.

Bioshock was on the 360 first. Hopefully this time they are working simultaneously so that both owners of a 360 and a PS3 won't be dissatisfied.

I never said the PS3 was the lead platfrom i said it should be the lead platform. Like EA does with its PS3 games.

Well the last sentence you wrote didn't really seem like it meant "should." The way you worded it gave me the impression that that is currently what they are doing.

Yeah, you're right, he didn't say it in the way that it represented "Should". "Are now" is one of the key words that changed it's meaning there.

Killzone 2 had no install and became laggy as hell when loading buildings with in a level. All FPS games should be installed to the harddrive.

If there is an install, then next time please put a progression bar at the bottom, I sat there for less than ten minutes when installing Bioshock onto my ps3's hard drive (two loops of that catchy song), and didnt know what % installed it was at.
Hmm, I really had no problem with it Installing. It really just uped my want to play the game. Plus, since I had barely heard anything of the game before, the posters showing different plasmids and other things really looked cool.

Maybe they will have some plasmid posters for this launch. I want some on my wall.
