The Type 18 handles like the track-car in Mafia, while the Type 25 handles like the Lotus from GPL (only already tuned to race well).

exactly, i have my avatar as whatever I feel, but i only make it something that relates to me. as for my nickname, it was a spur-of-the-moment thing.. senseibaka and alucarD are the things i stick with with online gaming, and senseibaka is a clever thing i devised that plays on the finer grammar points of the japanese language and how words can be brought together.
the way i build senseibaka, it emphasises the meaning of the word. that's why i want to change it, because its me!

It's difficult to stick with a name that people end up using a lot on the net. Originally I started with Nemesis, but changed it to Soulsphere. Actually, before I ever had internet access the callsigns/nicknames, that I used in certain games, were:

Nemesis

There was something between Dragon and Nemesis, but I don't recall what it was.

in real life, someone who has an iron gut, has the ability to down things that most people wouldn't dare consuming. the iron gut allows the person to eat horrid things without regurgitating them because of the horridness.

it is not a real condition, but more a mental state in which the person with iron gut is able to eat things without thinking about how disgusting they may be.

When I began to study writing I thought it would be great escapism and a way for me to become more than all of the limitations around me. A way to create magic. The more I learned about writing and through writing, the world, the more I found that it's all so very political. All of those resources spent to find out it was almost totally the opposite of what I ever wanted (to escape the world and find magic and wonder). I studied poetry, so that I could write the perfect verse, the perfect song and all I can write are advertising slogans (I think advertising is one of the worst evils of modern society).

I just bought a 'new' xbox game from a seller on Amazon and my xbox won't read the disc. My xbox reads discs even when they're in such bad condition it either can't load certain sections, or just crashes completely. This disc it doesn't recognise at all. I've written to the seller asking for advice on how I can return it to him in accordance with my basic consumer rights.

This just after I received a bunch of scratched-up discs from an ebay seller advertising them as good condition.

I've got a merchant in California trying to screw me on postage for an adventure game I bought— theres now a non-paying bidder dispute opened about it. The guy advertised it as guaranteed to reach you and in full working order on the page and then detracted the offer in the invoice. All I want is an assurance that the thing will reach me and I'll send the money. I wrote to him about the automatic indemnity with international airmail parcel post but he wrote back (after the dispute was opened (and I'd responded telling him his terms were in violation of the ebay contract)) to say he doesn't know where I got that information from and that free insurance doesn't exist. He went on to say that he could extend the guarantee of the game arriving if I pay an extra $8 for insurance. I've written back directing him to the paragraphs at the USPS website that describe the standard free insurance and have told him I'd rather just rely on that and wouldn't mind sending a little extra for a form 3817 ('Certificate of Mailing').

I just bought a bunch of adventure games from a guy in Canada and only received one. I emailed him at which point he wrote back apologising, saying that the there had been an error and the items had been packaged separately. He apparently re-packaged them and sent them on to me— the box for the edition I'd emailed him about several times to make sure it reached me in good condition arrived slashed from top to bottom with what I can only assume was some kind of craft knife.

why bother with ebay?-I'm sure there must be a GAME/GAMESTATION near you? the other day i picked up thief and farenheit for under a fiver for the two,I've been ripped off on ebay before.A lot of those discs on ebay have been re-surfaced to make them appear new in those cleaning machines,having said that,rinsing a disc in washing up liquid can do wonders if it refuses to read,it removes the static.;)

ebay just seems to be the least expensive option. Also— it's the only place I can get a lot of the adventure games I play.

There is a Game near to me but they don't really have the titles I want.

my friend down in Florida was just at a Gamestop where they told him the release of the game was pending due to something having to do with killing Little Sisters.

EB and gamestop are famous for making ridiculous claims like that. There's been some rumours of people getting uppity about the little sisters swirling around, but none of those rumours have ever made it to a reputable gaming news site or organization (as far as I've seen). hehehe I know, that's what I've been picking up from reading what you guys have to say about it, anyway. I will definitely check it out as soon as I can, but I fear it isn't going to have any widescreen support, obviously.
I did hear of someone revamping the game though, improving the graphics but keeping the engine or whatever. Upgrading textures, lighting, etc. Maybe that'll help...

Im pretty sure you can edit the resolution to anything you like, in the config files. It'll likely look like crap if you change the ratio however.

I really wish someone would make a program that was essentially a launcher that would take regular 4:3 ratio games and run them at 4:3 but with black bars on the sides, so as to not stretch them...only on widescreen monitors though.
