I'm having a problem involving game saves. I'm in Point Prometheus, and so far everything is going ok. Then I try to save my game, but when I highlight "Save" and press X, the screen goes blank. The only way out at this point is to quit, but when I choose "Quit Game" from the menu, instead of merely doing that it resets the console entirely, complete with three rapid beeps!

I thought it was just the game save itself, so I loaded the game from the most recent save before it-same problem.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is this glitch fixable? And if I use a bathysphere to travel to another area, will the autosave still work? I'm playing on Survivor without Vita Chambers and I had a difficult time getting this far....please tell me I won't have to start over....

Edit: Found out what was wrong. Turns out I simply had too many save files on the hard drive. I deleted some and it fixed the problem. :D

hi, nice that you found the problem so it was your HD almost full? , or how many save files you had

I think it was mostly an issue of hard drive space, judging from how much the system menu said was left, although it could have been a combination of both.

I better move this thread to the tech support forum. Maybe this will be more helpful.

I'm having a similar Save issue. Every time I do an elective save on my Playstation 3 version, right after I click Save I get a blank screen. I need to shut down my console, start it back up, and reload. Thank heavens for small mercies, so far my game HAS successfully saved. It's just a royal pain the in the back of my lap.
