more ice. In the e3 stage demo ken levine remarks that everything in Bioshock behaves as you would expect it to, which made me wonder: will puddles of water freeze over when you hit them with your cryokinesis plasmid? With all the screentime they've been giving to electrocuting people who're standing in water, my guess is "no", which would suck

That's a good question, that would be a first if it did indeed freeze (splicer popsicle, anyone?)

you could make a big daddy fall on its ass and it couldn't be able to get up probably. just loot it and take the ls

i was wondering this too. But I think it would be too easy to kill enemies. All you would have to do is lure them into a deep enough puddle, freeze it so they couldn't move and then unload on them.

good point, but then u could argue the same thing abt electrocuting.

i hope u can freeze all the water. it could be done in a convincing way w/o imbalancing the game, ie: u can easily freeze shallow water, but 2 freeze a large puddle requires a lot more energy/etc

it would be so awesome if that could happen

i would freeze all the puddles i could and just slide around on them (it would make you move somewhat faster if you think about it)

it would be good if you needed to run past a turret in a flooded room but the water was slowing you down so you freeze it and glide across to safety

There is, in fact, a million threads on this topic. Kev Levine has said that everything will behave as you expect it to. Well, I expect water to freeze and if it doesn't Keven Levine is a liar, and we should all march to Boston with pitchforks and torches.

To be honoest, with everything theyve done to make water as realistic as possible from hiring a team just to work on the graphics of the water, i mean theyve done just so much to make the water realistic that im sure they have made it so it reacts when you try to freeze it.
