Here's my spec.
CPU :AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3500+, 2.2 GHz
Windows Version : Windows XP Pro 5.1, build 2600
Memory: 1024 RAM
DirectX Version : DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)
Graphics Card Name :ATI Radeon HD 4850
Graphics Card Memory :512 MB
Graphics Card Driver Date & Version : 12/1/2008, 6.14.0010.6891
Sound Card Name: Realtek AC97 Audio
Sound Card Driver Date & Version :6/20/2005, 5.10.0000.5870
Retail Version of the game
Basically the game starts, the intros start and run until the 2k phonogram shows up. Just after that, I get the generic "Bioshock.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." error.
First I updated the video and audio drivers to no avail. I updated the audio drivers from the ASUS site because the realtek site downloaded at 6 kps.
Then I tried running the game with -nosound but the sound still ran and the game still crashed. I tried running with -dx9 even tho its xp, nothing.
What should I do now?
