I have 41/50 Achievements so only 9 left to get.
I need the following:
Win with Russians
Win with Germans
*Win with all Civs
Economic on Diety
Cultural on Diety
Domination on Diety
Tech on Diety
These ones I should get eventually but I am having problems with these last two.
Curse of the Drinking Class
Develop a city to produce 200 resources per turn.
I have tried to get to the 200 hammers but the most I have gotten out of a city is around 140-150 hammers. I have tried to find areas with hills and forests and mountains plus other resource bonus squares but I end up with the problem of not having enough food. I guess I could sit and build settlers from other cities to feed this one but there has got to be a better way. I build factories and workshops plus courthouses. Any ideas?
That We May Live in Peace
Win the game by year 1000 AD on King difficulty or higher.
Again, for some reason, the best I can get on this one is around 1400 AD. I have started with Zulu's and focused the first city on hammer production to speed up the process a little bit but I just end up getting juiced somehow. I have also used the Aztecs and rushed additional units and then focused on getting horsemen but again, juiced. Not only getting juiced but also trying to locate the other civs gets to be a problem. Is there a surefire type method or is it more luck of the draw in making sure that the AI civs are very close by?

Curse of the Drinking Class
Develop a city to produce 200 resources per turn.As the Americans, on Cheiftan (to make it easier), Have 4-5 mountains near where you settle this city, and maybe more mountains on the backdrop. Maybe hills as well. A couple of grassy areas would do good for the growing thing, but not necessary. You can simply send it the settlers that you need as food instead (as you mentioned). In the modern era, you should have a iron mine + factory + 3xfactory ability which should get it above and beyond the 200 mark. IF it's not doing that, simply grow your city, as each population adds more and more to the production.

200 hammers:
what I did (don't know if it stills possible : haven't tried since the first patch) is what you guessed.
I had lots of cities. I produced settlers in lots of cities, moved them to the most producing city, and made the settlers return to that city, so this city had a increased population and so, production.
Tried many different ways, but even with a well placed city, with factory, iron mine, etc, I did not succeed.
win before 1000AD:
with the Arabs, "it's all about gold" scenario.
You start with 1K gold, use this gold to rush horsemen and attack.
When you take a city, build roads for faster units moves.
Once you have mathematics : make horsemen + catapults, and still attack.
This way, you should win well before 1000AD.
In Deity:
Same as 1000AD.
When one ennemy capital remains, SAVE your game.
Then, you can choose the way you win:
- take the last capital
- wait, defend (this will be easy) and go for alpha du centaure, world bank or United Nations

Don't forget to switch to Communism to give you a nice production bump.

yes communism is huge. If you get it first you get 33% off factories as well which is nice. Assuming you were getting 140-150 hammers without communism, if you used it you would of had over 200 hammers. If you were using communism then you just need more mountains.

for 200 prod, I used mongolians.. they usually start near some mountains, and of course a few trees. They get 3 prod from mountains later in the game, so an iron mine on top of that is like 7 each. then they get free communism in the modern era. i needed the population to get to around 23,24 and with communism got a little over 200
for the 1000ad win, i used england, got to feudalism asap (starting with monarchy you can just research horses then go right to feudalism) and killed everyone with knights. isnt that bad... plus you can do any difficulty.

I finally got the 200 hammer achievement. I used the Chinese and parked my city between a ton of mountains, hills, forests and some fish.
I managed to get it up to 192 hammers but I couldn't get it passed that. The Greeks put a city very close to mine and my courthouse overlapped theirs. I ended up taking it over but it still hurt me. I started making settler after settle to lower that cities population but I still was stuck on 192 hammers.
Then something magical happened. I researched future technology and it jumped up to 222. Wooohooo.
Now the 1000AD left.

I used Aztecs on King. If you use Chokehold and the Mystic pack there is always (?) the Camelot artifact. I researched Horsemanship, got gold from barbarians, found Camelot, rushed as many horseman as possible before moving on to Camelot. All horseman were upgraded to knights. I think had 3 knight armies around 1000BC. I won by 200 AD.

Excellent Strategy!!!!! I won at 100 BC. :D
Used the scenario with 1000 gold. Set my first city to only focus on Science. Rushed my first set off warriors and had them explore.
Researched Horsemanship.
Rushed a barracks.
Rushed a galley.
Rushed the Lighthouse Wonder.
Found Atlantis.
Rushed Horsemen.
Got Mathematics.
Rushed Catapults.
Then dominated for there.
The Galley came in very handy in moving troops to a farther capitol.
Thanks for that.
Now it's all the Diety wins left.

Geeez, I am this close to winning a domination victory on Diety with the Japanese. I started out shooting for a Tech but for me, domination victories are the toughest. I saw an opening and I am two capitols away from bustin' this one out.

Maybe if you ask them politely, they'll turn over their capitals to you.
You think?

Maybe.
I had to save it and I am in a very good position to win all 4 victories from this save point.

Sahweeeet! I finally have all the achievements. I went for the Domination first from my save point and then went to Econ, Cultural and finally tech. After the Domination, it was 5 turns from my save point and about 8 turns for the tech.

This method will gaurantee a win before 1000AD, but let it be know that some people consider it a cheap way to get the Achievement (if you care).
If you have the DLC, then laucnh the Donut Map. This map is perfect for 1000AD, everyone is close, and you can walk to them. Also, in every game, the cities are in roughly the same location.
*Use the ZULU, Impis move two spaces per turn.
*Immediately after start of game, save the game... do not overwrite this save game.
*Build warriror units and walk around and uncover the board.. don't waste any time fighting anything. Just uncover board and get a feel for where things are. make a map if you need to.
*Restore the save game from turn 1 and get ready to play for real.
*Set your starting city to produce Hammers (manually select hlls, forest and mountains).
*Build nothing but warriers, period. When you have three, form an army and go towards the first city.
*before you attack the first city, save the game. Do the attack and if you fail, reload and try again. The first city should fall rapidly.
*Continue building warrior armies and send them to other cities.
*When you capture a capital, build only warrior armies and continue to move them forward towars enemy cities.
*Get just enough gold to build roads between captured cities and you rmain city.
*do not waste time fighting barbs.
*keep pushing forward... if you do it right, you will have 4-5 warrior armies, all upgraded attacking the last city.

*before you attack the first city, save the game. Do the attack and if you fail, reload and try again. The first city should fall rapidly.
This won't work unless you do something different after reloading. When you load a game, if you follow the same sequence of moves, the same thing will always happen. That's because the state of the game's random number generator is saved along with the game.
