I just thought of the greatest idea ever, what if “The Silk Roads” could be a wonder,
First their:
Ability; Roads produce gold,
Also, if you for some reason you have a enemy city(Captured, flipped), and it has a road to an enemy city, that road produces a little more gold than the other of your own roads.

Cost: im not sure, but I think it should be between 150-250

Technology: I think the technology you need to research to get this is “Writing”, since the chinese start with it, and I think “The great library of Alexandria” should be moved to “Alphabet”, and the wonder from alphabet should just be like Stonehenge,

Obsolete: This wonder is obsolete when another civilization discovers “The Automobile”,
….. which is not bad because “The treaty of Troyes” is obsolete at “globalization”, and since you get this by writing it’s a little earlier, so that why, and I think “The automobile” is good tech to obsolete since its self explanatory, like how flight obsoletes the east India company…

What do you guys think is this a good idea….

The silk road became obsolete by the discovery of America, buddy. Sure it was still productive, but not as much as the rip off made in the new continent. So maybe the discovery of Steam Power would be much more appropriated.

Still, it's a nice idea. Too bad there won't be any more DLCs after today. Closed. Finito. Kaputt.

perhaps the money you get from the roads would depend on how long the road is and how big the cities are that the road connect.
