I used to use Bioshock with my integrated 6100 GeForce. It worked but, it lagged obviously since the card was weak. I upgraded to an 8800GT 512MB and Bioshock is suddenly refusing to work entirely. I downloaded the latest driver from Nvidia, that didn't help. I know Bioshock's running because it's in the task manager but it just won't launch on my screen. I'm not bothering with the rest of my computer info since the video card is the only change I made. I just don't get why it's not working considering Crysis, Call of Duty 4, Oblivion, Doom 3, Half-Life 2, Far Cry, etc. all work fine. Note: The patch didn't help either.

did you completely remove the old drivers first before installing the latest ones?

You can use: Driver Cleaner (http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=745). The basic path is: download and install driver cleaner, uninstall nVidia drivers in control panel > add/remove programs for xp or programs and features for vista, reboot ignore new hardware found messages clicking cancel if neccessary, run driver cleaner, reboot, install new nVidia drivers, reboot.

I just followed the steps completely, using the omega driver for Nvidia XP (My OS), Bioshock still refuses to show up.
