Alright, first things first, I'm new. And I'm here because I'm stuck. I read the forum rules and I hope I've got this in the right place. Not sure if it contains spoilers or not. But it sounds like you get told off if you say it does but it doesn't .. or you say it doesnt but it does.
I'm playing the PC version of the game, and I'm in Julie Langford's office. I've got the diary off her and the gun thing from the table, but when I get past the picture and into the safe .. it's empty?! I'm tried googling this problem but noone seems to have said anything on it. So is it unique or .. what? I've tried reloading the game and doing it again but to no avail. After searching the safe it still glows .. I've tried searching the room for the things I need to carry on (a list and a key?) but yeah. No luck.
Anyone else had this problem or am I just doomed to never finish Bioshock?

1) It is a known issue.
2) You are in the wrong forum section.
3) Try searching the safe without the Scrounger tonic equipped.
4) Search for more threads about this here , I've seen a lot.
5) If the above won't work, you are doomed to replaying the game up to this point.
6) Someone might help you by giving you a save game right after opening Langford's safe.
7) ???
8) Profit!

1) Great.
2) Even better.
3) Ok, so I'll try that.
4) Like I said, I've searched for the topic, but can't find anything in these forums (yep, searched these forums.)
5) Darn.
6) Yeah maybe.
7) ???
8) Ok.
Thank you for your help. :)

Hmm so I tried to do it without the tonic .. only I don't even HAVE the tonic. How can I fix this?
Edit: Ok, found a post with the same problem, but none of their solutions work for me. Does anyone have a copy of the saved game after searching the safe and finding the right things?

Yeah, it's a known issue. I moved this to the Bioshock Technical Support. You might get more help in here. :)

Usually I get annoyed with people who say stuff like that, but in this case I defiantly agree with you, XBOX 360 owners, YOU HAVE IT EASY!!!
