ok soo some of you may remember me talking about the revolver from bioshock
well today is my birthday and my dad and i went to the gun show they were having at the fair grounds. we searched and we finally found a webley 38 mark4 top break revolver
i got it in very good condition i believe it a civilian model mainly because
it has a safety.
its almost identical to the one in the game and its a very neat gun
havent been to shoot it yet but the rifling looks brand new
soo if your a target shooter or collector its a very nice gun to have

Nice find. Did you get a good price on it?

I prefer my second generation Colt 45 SAA. I just like big holes for some reason.

well i found out some more info about the particular gun i got
its a mark 4 webley 38 manufactured in bermingham england
it was made under contract after ww2 for the singapore police force
as a result it has a safety near the handle which was only made under that contract
also any of those guns that were brought in for service had the saety removed. the on i have still has the safety intact soo it has never been serviced
also the rifling on the barrell looks like a brand new gun
another neat thing is that it has webley printed on the handle and it almost has an art deco style to it

p.s. im going shooting on monday and ill get back to yall on how it shoots

Yeah it takes a few boxes of shells to get the hang of it. Once you do, you wont want to go back lol.
